Darrell Daulton, Pastor
Darrell has been leading the church since 2012. After completing an MDiv the Lord directed him back to Bethany where he grew up. He's married to Kirsten, his best friend. Together, they have four children. The abundant opportunities to share the good news and disciple believers are two driving motivations for being in ministry. Darrell's hope is that God will be glorified at Bethany and in our community.
Kirsten Daulton, Women's and Children's Ministry Coordinator
Kirsten leads the women's and children's ministries. She is a gifted teacher and leads the ladies groups through Bible studies and teaches a children's class as well. God has given her a great love for teaching women and she loves serving the church in this way.
Brian Josephs, Deacon
Brian serves the church as a deacon. He was ordained in November of 2014. He and his wife, Trish, have attended and served at Bethany faithfully for many years. They have been blessed with three children. Trish serves the church with her graphic design skills and helps to maintain the church website.
Josué Alvarado, Spanish Ministries Intern
Josué is a student at Rio Grande Bible Institute in Edinburg, Texas. He is from Honduras, and will be serving with us as an intern while also continuing his education at RGBI. During this time he will lead our Spanish Bible Study and help us with Spanish outreach in the McKinley Park neighborhood. In addition to serving the church through Spanish ministry he also serves the church by leading worship and teaching the Gospel Project to the youth. After his time in Chicago he will return to RGBI to complete his education. We are so thankful this internship opportunity has led him to Bethany.
Jorge Rivera, Spanish Ministries Intern
Soy Jorge Rivera y tengo 21 años y estoy en mi cuarto año en el Seminario Bíblico Rio grande en énfasis pastoral. Dios me salvo a la edad de doce años. Es mi deseo día a día ser más como Cristo, viviendo para alabanza de Su gloria sirviendo a Él con amor y entrega total al ministerio. Espero al termino de mis estudios servir con etnias en Latinoamérica, capacitando a sus líderes y llevando la sana doctrina.
I am Jorge Rivera and I am 21 years old and I am in my fourth year in Rio Grande Bible Seminary in pastoral emphasis. God saved me at the age of twelve. It is my desire day by day to be more like Christ, living to the praise of His glory by serving Him with love and total surrender to the ministry. I hope at the end of my studies to serve with ethnicities in Latin America, training their leaders and carrying out sound doctrine.
David Ouimet, Church Treasurer
David serves as the church treasurer. He manages the church financial accounting and assembles weekly, quarterly, and annual financial reports as required. He also works with other leadership members on church annual budget planning. David also serves in the AWANA program and enjoys helping young hearts to learn more about God and His plan of salvation.
Leslie Voegtlin, Church Clerk
Leslie serves the church through administrative responsibilities, record keeping and technical support. She leads efforts to connect guests with the church and make them feel comfortable, at home and welcomed. Leslie has faithfully served as the leader for the Awana Cubbies (pre-school) club for many years. She loves discipling the tender hearts of the young children in her class.
Linda Voegtlin, Worship and Music Coordinator
Linda works with the pastor to design services that will help the church grow in grace and in the knowledge of Christ. She serves as pianist and coordinates the worship team each week. Her desire is to select songs and hymns that are easy for everyone to sing while helping to enrich the faith of the church body.
