What to Expect on Sunday Morning
Thank you for considering a visit to our church. We are a community of believers endeavoring to grow in grace and in knowledge of Jesus Christ. Our members and attendees are by no means perfect people. They just have experienced forgiveness from God and possess a hope that comes through Christ. We are excited for the opportunity to meet you and we want you to feel welcomed and encouraged in Christ when you visit.
When you arrive you may head upstairs to our sanctuary. Our Sunday morning worship service begins at 11:00 am and lasts approximately one hour. Throughout the worship service we will strive to bring glory to God through music, scripture reading and expository preaching. We sing traditional and modern hymns and songs that direct our hearts toward God. We use simple instrumentation and encourage everyone to participate in worship through singing. The Pastor will teach a passage of Scripture verse by verse with explanation and application to every day life. We welcome you to visit with us after the service so that we can get to know you.
Children are welcome to attend the Sunday morning service with you. If you have a child three years or younger and would prefer to have childcare we have a nursery available in the lower level.
If you are driving, plan to arrive a few minutes early to find parking. There is free street parking in front of the church and on nearby streets. For additional parking info see this link.
If you are using public transportation we are located close to the 35th/Archer stop on the Orange line. We are also close to the bus stop at 35th/Archer/Hoyne where the #35, #50 and #62 buses all stop.
